I am a family sociologist and demographer broadly interested in gender inequality and population dynamics over the life course and across high-income countries.

Currently, I am a Ramon y Cajal researcher in the Centre for Demographic Studies Barcelona, Spain. I received my PhD in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (August 2021) where I was trained in the Center for Demography and Ecology.

​Starting July 2025, I will be the principal investigator of the ERC Starting Grant project 'SINGLE: Understanding the Demography and Stratification of Singlehood in Europe.' SINGLE is a 5-year project funded by the European Commission (ERC-2024-STG-101163333-SINGLE, €1.5M).
